Beginner fit is an editorial reading, not a lab score. Replit lets you build in the browser on a free Starter plan. Agent modes and effort-based charges are the part to read before a long session.

Replit Agent builds apps in a cloud workspace. Starter is free with a daily Agent allowance and one published app that expires after 30 days. Core is $20 a month, or $18 a month billed annually.

Quick verdict

Replit Agent is included with Replit plans rather than sold as a separate subscription. Starter is free, with a daily Agent cap and one published app that comes down after 30 days. Core is $20 a month, or $18 a month when billed annually, and the pricing page lists $20 toward more powerful models. Pro is $100 a month, or $90 a month billed annually. Those figures are from Replit's pricing page and plan docs on 15 October 2026.

Who it's for

Pros

Published product traits. Not lab findings.

  • Starter is free with no time limit, and it includes Agent chat under a daily cap, according to the plan comparison.
  • Core adds paid Agent modes, Plan Mode, connectors, up to 5 collaborators, and unlimited published apps.
  • Replit asks for confirmation before a paid Agent action starts, according to the pricing help.

Cons

Published limits and pricing constraints. Not lab findings.

  • Starter's published app goes down after 30 days and keeps a Made with Replit badge. Full build, Plan Mode, and connectors require Core.
  • The Starter docs say there are daily Agent credits up to a monthly cap, but they do not print the credit counts. This page does not guess them.
  • Power and Max are paid modes with effort-based pricing. Plan Mode can bill even when it does not change code.

Test log

No hands-on run is recorded. The lab protocol on the methodology page (a CRUD app, a seeded bug, a refactor, and a Vercel deploy) has not been executed for this page. There is no time, success rate, cost, screenshot, or score to show.

What it is

Replit is a cloud workspace. Agent is the chat that builds and edits the project. The Core plan page compares Starter, Core, and Pro in one table: Starter is daily-capped Agent chat and one 30-day published app. Core is the first plan with paid Agent modes, Plan Mode, connectors, five collaborator seats, and unlimited published apps. Pro raises that to 15 seats and 10 background tasks.

The pricing page is where the dollar amounts live. The docs page for pricing still had unreplaced tokens such as a credit placeholder when it was read, so dollar amounts on this page come from replit.com/pricing, not from that template.

Modes

Free Mode is everyday Agent work inside the plan allowance. On Core and Pro, Power and Max are paid modes. Replit can offer a one-time paid action and then return to Free Mode. The docs say you confirm before that charge.

What this page does not claim

There is no record of how many credits a sample app used. The Starter page describes daily credits without printing the number, and this summary leaves that blank on purpose.

Questions

Is Replit Agent a separate subscription?

No. Agent is part of the Replit plans. Starter includes a capped free mode. Core and Pro add larger allowances and the paid Power and Max modes.

Will Starter charge me if I only use Free Mode?

Free Mode is no-cost Agent work inside the plan allowance. Replit's help says it asks before a paid action starts. Power and Max are the paid modes.

Did vibestacklab publish an app with Replit Agent?

No. This page restates Replit's pricing page and plan docs. There is no hands-on build.
