Published research summaries for Cursor, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Lovable, and v0, plus Cursor vs Claude Code, Lovable vs v0, and a Next.js best-of list. Every page is marked not yet hands-on tested. Prices link to official sources checked on this date. No newsletter issue was sent.
Vendor notes recorded while checking sources, not as lab results:
- OpenAI's Codex pricing page says GPT-5.5 retires from Codex with ChatGPT sign-in on 14 October 2026 at noon PDT. API-key sessions are excluded from that notice.
- v0's docs say the Premium plan at $20 a month is being sunset and is closed to new users.
- Lovable's credits docs describe a temporary chat-pricing offer through 31 October 2026. Build, plan, media generation, Cloud, and AI usage are outside that offer.
- Cursor for new customers is The X Subscription. Older Pro and Teams prices remain only as legacy plans.
Those four notes are why several older summaries on the web will not match these pages.
